The Editorial Board of Revista de Neurología is composed of experts in their respective fields.

For each article, every effort is made to achieve the highest scientific quality, thanks to the collaborative interactions between the Editorial Board, reviewers, and authors.

Editor-in-Chief

The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the following duties:

  • Ensuring the proper compliance and quality of the journal in pursuit of the highest quality standards.
  • Guaranteeing the scientific and editorial quality policies and criteria of the journal.
  • Ensuring the publication and regularity of the issues.
  • Appointing editorial board members both nationally and internationally.
  • Evaluating and making decisions regarding the publication and dissemination of articles.
  • Defining the roles and duties of the rest of the editorial board.
  • Ensuring adherence to publication policies.
  • Advising on publication guidelines.
  • Applying objective criteria.
  • Supporting the editorial office in their tasks.
  • Advising the publisher on the current and future objectives of the journal.
  • Attending meetings convened by the editorial board (in person or via video conference).
  • Proposing improvement actions.
  • Evaluating the scientific quality of the journal.

Editorial Board Members

They are responsible for the following tasks:

  • Ensuring the proper compliance and quality of the journal, striving for the highest standards of excellence.
  • Attending meetings called by the editorial board and/or the Editor-in-Chief (either in person or via video conference).
  • Ensuring the journal's scientific and editorial quality policies and criteria are upheld.
  • Proposing reviewers for peer review.
  • Suggesting improvements that will be presented to the Editor-in-Chief, who will then present them to the editorial board.
  • Evaluating the scientific quality of the journal.
  • Designating reviewers for each article.
  • Evaluating submissions as quickly as possible.
  • Ensuring the scientific quality of the manuscript.
  • Responding to scientific queries raised by the editorial board.
